Lewiston-Auburn Awning Company began in 1899. In a relatively short time it became the largest supplier of tents and awnings in the six New England states, as well as in parts of New York. 

In 1914 the company began making tents for the Army and Navy. Many of the men who served in both World War I and World War II slept in L & A tents at one time or another. This tradition continues today as the company outfits modern naval ships with custom canvas products. Our deep roots & sense of history is an integral part of maintaining the highest level of quality and service.
